About the WASL...
| WASL Testing begins next week and continues into the following week. As in the past, the PTSA is providing students with a mid-morning snack bar. And that's where you come in! We need volunteers to purchase snacks, and to help distribute snacks on test mornings from 7:30 to 8 am. If you can help please contact Jennifer Veninga. Here are the ASB and Leadership tips for the WASL: 1. Be prepared helps reduce test anxiety 2. Maintain a positive attitude while you take the test 3. Exercise helps reduce stress and anxiety 4. Get a good night's sleep before the test 5. Show up early to class so you have time to relax 6. Stay relaxed, if you get nervous, take a few deep breaths to slowly relax yourself 7. Skim through the questions first so you have a good idea what to expect 8. Write down the important keywords and facts in the test margins 9. Don't worry about how fast other people finish their test; just concentrate on your own test. 10. Read the questions very carefully and watch for important details. Labels: WASL |
