YMCA GIRLS OF PROMISE IS CANCELLED THIS FRIDAY: Miss Amy is out of the building on Friday and her after school program, YMCA Girls of Promise is cancelled for this Friday only.—3/1-2

ANNOUNCING A HIMS SPRING ULTIMATE FRISBEE TEAM: There will be an in-school informational meeting next Tuesday, March 6 about having a Spring Ultimate Frisbee team after school. The meeting will be held in the Auditorium during 6th period at 2 p.m. We have recruited a UW Ultimate player to coach a team along with a group of parents. If you are interested in playing on the Spring team, please attend the meeting. The team will be competing in games on Saturdays - the first game is Saturday, March 17.—3/1-2

ATTENTION ALL 6TH GRADE STUDENTS: Remember to ask friends and family to sponsor your two weeks of homeroom reading. We are doing a Read to Feed fundraiser to set off a chain reaction of positive change around the world by purchasing animals for impoverished families. I got word that one student has raised $500 on her own!!!! Your parents could ask folks at their work place to sponsor you, neighbors are a possibility, and family for sure. Remember to collect the money now and a certificate of completion will be given to the donor when the fundraiser is finished. Please give your envelopes with names and money to your homeroom teacher.--Ms. Greenberg and Ms. Kirk
