YMCA GIRLS OF PROMISE IS CANCELLED THIS FRIDAY: Miss Amy is out of the building on Friday and her after school program, YMCA Girls of Promise is cancelled for this Friday only.—3/1-2 ANNOUNCING A HIMS SPRING ULTIMATE FRISBEE TEAM: There will be an in-school informational meeting next Tuesday, March 6 about having a Spring Ultimate Frisbee team after school. The meeting will be held in the Auditorium during 6th period at 2 p.m. We have recruited a UW Ultimate player to coach a team along with a group of parents. If you are interested in playing on the Spring team, please attend the meeting. The team will be competing in games on Saturdays - the first game is Saturday, March 17.—3/1-2 ATTENTION ALL 6TH GRADE STUDENTS: Remember to ask friends and family to sponsor your two weeks of homeroom reading. We are doing a Read to Feed fundraiser to set off a chain reaction of positive change around the world by purchasing animals for impoverished families. I got word that one student has raised $500 on her own!!!! Your parents could ask folks at their work place to sponsor you, neighbors are a possibility, and family for sure. Remember to collect the money now and a certificate of completion will be given to the donor when the fundraiser is finished. Please give your envelopes with names and money to your homeroom teacher.--Ms. Greenberg and Ms. Kirk Reversible gray and white jacket, European size 42, in the lost-and-found box.

80TH BIRTHDAY T-SHIRTS ON SALE

Hamilton's 80th birthday party has come & gone but you can still buy a t-shirt to continue celebrating the event! The fabulous shirts from Hamilton's 80th birthday celebration will be on sale during lunch on Friday, February 16. If you can't purchase one there, download a form and hand it in to the PTSA box in the office. They are going fast, so hurry!

You can finally have a use for your Lederhosen that are taking up space in your closet. Celebrate the Lunar New Year and your own heritage by wearing something from your culture on Ethnic Dress Day, Friday, February 16. SOCCER MEETING: Boys interested in trying out for the Hamilton Boys Soccer team should attend an informational meeting this Thursday during 6th period from 1:45 until 2:15 in the Auditorium. —Mr. Finch HAWK PRIDE CARDS: The second drawing for prizes will be this Friday during all three lunches. Be sure to continue to make an EXTRA SPECIAL effort to follow the GLAD School Rules: 1) Showing respect 2) Making good decisions/choices 3) Solving a problem Turn in the Hawk Pride Cards you receive in your grade level box located in the lunchroom.--Gruber/Alvarez BACKPACKS: If you are missing a backpack, check out those in the lost-and-found box, including a nice blue and gray one.
