International Arts Celebration!

Thursday, May 10th at 7 p.m. Come watch the stars come out at Lincoln High School Auditorium (just up the block from HIMS) as HIMS students perform in the annual International Arts Celebration! Performances by students from Hamilton International and John Stanford International Schools will feature Japanese fan dancing, Cuban song-writing, Taiko drumming, West African dance, Chinese Ribbon dancing, and Afro-Caribbean drumming and we will also offer a gallery walk showcasing International Visual Arts projects from the year. Nathan Hale High School Sports Program Information

Athletic packets for the 2007 - 2008 sports season will be available in the gym on Monday evening, 4/30 from 6:30 - 8:00 at our New Student and Parent Evening. Details of the evening are found on our web site. Athletic Packets will be also available in our office during office hours - 7:30am - 3:00pm starting Tuesday, May 1.

WASL

All grade levels will be taking the Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) from April 23 through May 1. Your first period teacher will tell you where to go for testing. Please bring several #2 pencils and a book to read in case you finish early. Get plenty of good rest and nutrition. Relax and stay focused. Do your best!

PTSA General Meeting

Thursday, May 24th at 7:00 pm Please join us for the penultimate PTSA meeting for this year, which will include a Volunteer Appreciation party, hosted by the PTSA! We will have an ice cream social to celebrate all of the volunteers that put in so much time at HIMS. The meeting will be held in the auditorium at HIMS.

New Principal at Hamilton in 2007-08

Hamilton's former Assistant Principal Katie Cryan-Leary will be back as our new Principal, replacing Terry Acena as he goes into well-earned retirement. Welcome back!
