7th Grade Field Trip to Skate King

This a traditional community building trip for Hamilton 7th grade students to get to know teachers and one another. We encourage all 7th graders to attend. In addition to skating, students will have the opportunity to play games such as cards, board games, etc.

If your student would like to rent “In-line skates”-(roller blades) she/he will need to bring an additional $3.00 on the day of the trip. If your student would like to bring her/his own skates they must be inspected at the door.

Lunch is needed! Your student can bring a sack lunch from home, have Hamilton provide one or purchase lunch at Skate King. Preference should be indicated on the permission slip.

If your 7th grader hasn't presented you with the permission slip, download it here.

Keep a Sharp Eye Out for the Start of School Packets

Start-of-School Packets are being sent home with students Friday, September 7. Please ask your child for the packet or check their backpacks for it. There are very important forms to be filled out in this packet - how about you get comfortable with a cup of coffee or tea and take care of it right away!

Review the checklist and if you find that you are missing something in the packet, you can download the information here:

Additionally, your student's "Student Information Verification" sheet should also have come home on Friday. Please review the information and make any necessary corrections. Your student should return the corrected form to school.

International Potluck Dinner

Thursday, September 20th at 6:30 pm

It's the first big event of the school year - and you won't want to miss it! Following the meal is the Annual Geography Bee.

Please search your recipe books and bring a dish to share. Do you have connections to restaurants, eateries or other food sources that may be willing to donate something for our dinner? We have had some lovely donations in the past and this has really helped to ensure that everyone gets enough to eat. Please let us know! The International Potluck Dinner Committee is looking for a wee bit of help from anyone who may feel moved to help out with this event. If you'd like to know how you could help, e-mail Marie Coffland or call at 206-491-1058.

If your last name begins with A-E please bring a dessert, F-K please bring an entrée, L-Q a salad, and R-W a side dish. Plates and utensils are provided.
